ADD is helping the public authorities to find their way through the insurance labyrinth

News
08 November 2016

The new law on public contracts - approved in June 2016 – is of great influence on the way in which public authorities take out insurance policies. Policies can no longer be simply renewed with their trusted insurer. First of all, one has to examine which procedures are applicable for the procurement of the new contract. ADD acts as independent insurance advisor during the entire tendering process. We look for the best insurance product on the market for you.

It was not just the area of application of the law that was extended further. The law also contains a number of additional procedural options regarding public procurement. In order to apply the new law correctly when taking out an insurance policy, one needs thorough knowledge of the required procedures, as well as good technical knowledge of the insurance market. Thanks to our ample experience, our technical expertise and knowledge of the market, we are exceedingly well placed to advise public authorities in the practical elaboration of the entire procedure.

First of all, we verify as to how far the new legislation applies to you; then we advise you on the procedure that is most suited for you. Consequently, we provide counsel during the redaction of the terms of reference and the selection of the insurance product that you need. ADD is with you in every step of the procedure, up to and including the writing of the award report.

Could you, as public authority, use some help with the procurement of a new policy? Contact us without any obligation, and together we will assess how far we can offer you our service.
