Third party insurance for motor vehicles covers all physical, materiel and sentimental loss affecting third parties as a result of a traffic accident. The legally compulsory insurance covers damage to:
- the owner of the goods damaged through your fault
- the driver and the passengers of the other vehicle involved or other participants in the traffic (cyclists, pedestrians,..)
- the passengers in your vehicle
Accident between vehicles in your fleet
Unless otherwise specified in the third party insurance contract for motor vehicles there is no cover for a collision between two vehicles belonging to the same policyholder. Collisions between colleagues in the car park or on public roads do not give rise to any compensation.
